The supermoon is a term for a full moon that happens to occur at the same time as a lunar perigee. That is astronomer speak for the point in the moons orbit that it is closest to the Earth. So basically the moon is largest in size and closest to distance, making it appear much brighter and larger than its normal size. We have seen several people living in Daybreak who have added a fire pit to their backyard. If you are adding a permanent fire feature like the one shown here created with pavers, you will need to get approval from the Daybreak Community Association just like if you were to add a patio. There are also freestanding fire pits that can be purchased from home improvement stores or online. Home Depot carries a popular fire pit starting around $150.

There are many different choices and ways for you to personalize a fire pit to your personal style and compliment your homes decor. This was a cute fire pit with a U of U logo for all your sports fans. If Utah isn't your team, these can be customized to incorporate most college and professional sports team logos. Did you know you can even choose a fire pit table? There are options with a tile or slate table surrounding the fire.

In addition to the traditional wood burning fire pit, gas fire pits are also growing in popularity. If you are building a new home in Daybreak, you can add a gas line to your patio for either a fire pit or grill. If you have an existing home, this can be added after the fact with the help of a contractor. The cost will vary depending on how easy it easy to get a gas line out to your backyard.
